While this is a federal issue I have long supported comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship for longtime residents and their families as long as they have been paying taxes, don't have criminal records, pay late fines, and learn English in order to remain here.  What I don't want to see and will vote against are piecemeal publicity stunts like what was done in Arizona recently and even in Georgia in prior years.
